Automotive Validation/Testing Engineer – In-Cabin Sensing
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Validation/Testing Engineer specializing in In-Cabin Sensing or ADAS domain. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting validation activities to ensure system performance, safety, and compliance. This is an onsite role based in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and procedures for Camera based In-Cabin Sensing systems
- Perform vehicle-level testing including real-world drive campaigns
- Analyze test results, perform root cause analysis, and document findings in a structured way
- Prioritize the issues according to severity and align with product responsible/ validation leader on the development plan
- Execute validation linked tasks for ISO 26262, ASPICE, and NCAP protocols
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in validation of computer vision SW based Automotive applications
- automotive validation/testing
- Experience with ADAS and/or In-Cabin Sensing technologies
- Optional: Proficiency with test tools (dSPACE, Vector CANoe, ETAS INCA, data loggers)
- Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Scripting skills (Python, MATLAB, or C/C++)
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI/ML-based perception system validation
- Exposure to NCAP test protocols
- Experience with requirements management tools (CodeBeamer, Polarion etc.)
