Engineering Team Lead
In simple terms, the ideal person is someone who:
- Has ~5 years’ experience in mechatronics/system development (hardware + software combined)
- Can act as a technical coordinator / “spider in the web”
- Understands and works with:
- system design and architecture
- requirements breakdown (requirements engineering)
- control systems (reglerteknik)
- hardware + electronics + basic software interaction
- Can lead and coordinate engineers and cross-functional teams
- Ensures systems are tested, verified, and work in real life (not just on paper)
- Communicates well with suppliers, developers, and stakeholders
- Is comfortable with both planning/management and technical analysis
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in automotive or similar complex industries
- System architecture work
- Tools like DOORS / Polarion / SystemWeaver
- Simulation (FEM/CFD/1D models)
- Some programming (especially Python)
