Office Manager
Office Manager (East Kilbride)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to support the smooth daily operation of our EK/Glasgow site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage purchasing and logistics, including site orders (e.g. kitchen supplies, stationery, gifts)
- Support Purchasing card use, purchase orders, manual payments and T&E processes
- Coordinate staff meetings, minute taking and maintaining key metrics
- Ensure compliance with export control and create and manage ISO standards and internal audit documentation.
- Plan and deliver bi-monthly UK communication meetings and create internal/external content
- Own and manage UK site SharePoint content & Reception screen content
- Organise events, including employee activities, industry events and customer visits
- Lead organisation of key events, including the annual Christmas event
- Support the Community Group with social and site events
- Act as First Aider and Fire Marshal (training provided if required)
- Support cross-functional projects and site coordination activities as required
- Manage incoming post/mail
Experience/Requirements
- Experience in a similar role
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Strong communicator and comfortable building rapport with multiple stakeholders
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, adapting to changes as required
- Flexible to meet site demands, i.e. customer visits
- Demonstrates initiative; a problem solver
- Takes ownership for tasks and drives to completion
- Strong MS Office/365 skills
- Accounting/PO ERP system experience highly desirable
